Biography

ScottI was born on the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. My parents raised me and my brothers in the house that they purchased soon after I was born. After high school, I attended a local community college and university where I majored in computer science. After graduation, I moved to Orlando, Florida where I began my career in the computer industry–an industry in which I have continued to work for just over 25 years.

I have had the privilege to work with and learn from many bright and talented people over the years. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had to learn, grow and apply my knowledge and experience with those for whom I have worked.

I met my wife at the church I attended about two years after moving to Orlando. We married and have been greatly blessed with two very wonderful daughters. I cannot begin to imagine what life would be like without my family.

My family and I moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1994. We have made many wonderful friends and are thankful that this is where our children were raised. We love the city, we love the state and we plan to remain here for the remainder of our lives.

I once told a friend that I have led a boring life because there is nothing I have done that would be worth making a movie about, but I can also say that I have never been bored. I have enjoyed my life, my family, and my friends. I consider myself to be much like all the people around me. I want to be free to enjoy my life and I want my family to have more opportunities in life than I have had.
